I'm sure you've experienced both in your life. Sometimes, you feel aligned and clear, like everything is going right.
But other times? It feels like you're wading through a thick, swampy soup, and you're not making progress on ANYTHING.
Do you know why there's a difference?
Two reasons: First, you have to know what it is that you want. And second, you have to ask for it. Most of us struggle in one or both of these arenas.
Most of us don’t get what we want in life because either we don’t know what it is that we want, or we're too afraid to go after it. These are some of the most challenging puzzles facing us in our everyday life: figuring out what we want, and then going after what we want and asking for it.
In this course, I break down both of these big topic areas and give you specific exercises, strategies, and tools to help you make strides more quickly and easily towards both figuring out what it is that you want and how to go after it.
If you've ever felt stuck in the following situations:
Then join me right now in this course, because I have specific strategies you can use in each situation so you can get moving again, get unstuck, and start asking the world (and your friends, your colleagues, or your boss) for what you want.
Whether it's getting over your fear of asking, understanding the psychology behind confidence and manifestation, or feeling a sense of clarity and freedom around putting yourself out there, asking for what you want can be hard if you haven't figured out how to do it well.
"If we did all the things we're capable of doing, we would literally astonish ourselves." — Thomas Edison
"Highly recommend this course, which addresses the key piece of how to figure out EXACTLY what you want, and then provides very practical advice for how to ask for it.
When I started the course, I felt very confident that I knew what I wanted. Sarah's method for helping you articulate what you want and why you want it proved me wrong. Which is so valuable! When you are a solo entrepreneur, it's really easy to waste time on things that don't actually matter because you don't have a team who can serve as a barometer. Sarah really blew me away and very quickly helped me redesign my goals. I actually re-set some of my biggest goals based on the guidance Sarah provided in the course, and I'm way more excited about them - AND they feel more achievable."
- Maggie Frank-Hsu, Marketing Strategist and Copywriter
"This course helped give me the confidence needed to navigate any ask. I'm not a woo-woo person, so I loved that Sarah provided a strong science-backed approach to potentially esoteric concepts (like manifestation). She also gave many specific, practical tools that I can use as I go after the things I really want in my business and life."
- Becky Mollenkamp, Mindset Coach, Host of The Gutsy Boss podcast
"I would definitely recommend this course. I often want to reflect on my dreams, goals, priorities, and plans... but without a structure, it either slips off the to-do list or feels unsatisfying. This gave me a relaxing, fun, simple structure to really delve into the things that matter most to me. I loved that it gave me new perspectives and new tools on topics that I already thought I was a pro at. The videos were so real and sweet and personal and interesting. And the process was powerful and clearly well thought-through."
- Emily Kerr-Finell, Founder at Wholesale In a Box
"I loved the mix of science and woo. Sarah's storytelling made it super relatable. I also loved how short and bite-sized the videos were!"
Reina Pomeroy, MSW, PCC

"Manifestation for the win! Literally ONE day after I watched the "Declaring" section I had meetings where people offered to put me in touch with key people at VC firms and TV networks. You helped me clarify the fact that, in order to truly scale my business, I would need bulk sales, funding, and major press. Granted, these meetings were set up well in advance, however the clarity that I had surrounding exactly what I needed and exactly how I would achieve those goals allowed me to more clearly and more definitively answer the main question I was later asked: "How can I help you?"
- Alex Frankel Schorr, Founder of Rainbow Zebra Co.
"The part that stood out the most for me was the guided visualization which I've listened to about ten times already so far. A lot of people talk about visualizing what you want but Sarah tells you HOW to do it in a way that will actually yield results and doesn't feel like dreaming. I also loved going through the tough scenarios and the one on why people don't answer your email was the best!
This course is great if you're going through a period where you are feeling very conflicted about what you want and feel like there is no way you can attain it all. Sarah provides practical steps and guides you to understand what it is you really want so that you feel happier with yourself. The best part is that she gives you real examples on how you can go about achieving those things rather than just dreaming about them
- Perzen Patel, Founder - BawiBride
"I enjoyed Sarah's course so much! It takes you from start to finish when it comes to UPLEVELING your life in whatever area you are feeling stuck. I enjoyed how easy the course was to consume on my phone, really bite sized and practical. I was taking notes the whole time. I can't wait to return to this system for my next goal The strategies were new to me and mind-blowing. I also loved the stories, I really liked when you shared examples.

"I could write so much more praising the work, but have a little guy who is on the verge of waking up from his nap, so for now just wanted to send a quick note of praise and say I'm looking forward to continuing to listen and read. Thanks for addressing these nuances and subtleties in such a profound way. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so." — Arianna Taboada, maternity leave researcher and consultant
“I learned far more than I ever expected—it was a personal journey, an incredible ride, and an amazing content. Learning from Sarah is wonderful.” — Emma R.
"I laughed out loud—the little jokes throughout made me chuckle. I'm glad you didn't edit them out!" — Michelle F.
"I love your commitment to learning, your dedication to writing down and sharing your lessons, and your love for the world." — Titiaan P.
I can also tell you honestly, that I've been there, in SO many of these situations. The way I've figured this out is through practice, trial and error, and a whole lot of research, reading, and experimentation.
The keys to this course started by accident back in 2012, when I was doing an audacious and crazy project: I was trying to swim the Escape From Alcatraz, a 1.5 mile course in freezing cold, shark-infested waters. That summer, I made a bet I knew I would probably lose. I wanted to raise $29,000 for charity in six weeks, and if we did, I made a public promise that I would do the swim...naked.
But only if we raised more than $29,000.
I told everyone I knew that I would do the swim in my "birthday suit" — that is, without a wetsuit, or a swimsuit. Wearing nothing but a swim cap and goggles.
For the next six weeks, I dove in and asked everyone I knew for help: I asked my coffee barista, the taxi driver, my boss, my boyfriend, and then after I went through everyone I knew, I started asking people I didn't know.
Over those six weeks, I got a crash course in the art of asking and I eventually asked more than 1,000 people for help. In the end, we raised $33,000 and yes, I did do the swim. (I even have a bonus video for anyone who wants to know how the swim went—it's at the end of the course!)
One of the things I learned was how to ask people for things—from cold emails, to in-person requests, to finding clarity around a mission and a message.
Since that crazy swim, I've continued to read books on psychology, marketing, communications, and sales. I've read more than 200 of these books so far, and I've continued to hone the skills of discovering, declaring, and going after what I want. I've learned that manifestation isn't just some "woo-woo" idea, but it's actually backed in science—if you do it right.
I'm a lifelong student, and I believe that learning is forever. I love taking courses, reading books, and teaching what I know.
Plus, I love telling stories, so you can bet there will be a lot of useful, silly, and practical stories packed in the course as well.
I'd love to have you in here alongside me, learning with me. Come join me.
I can't wait to get started!
PS: I've also added new bonus material to this course, including four bonus Q/A videos that address the stickiest of questions, like getting over your fear of rejection, or dealing with impostor syndrome, or what to do when you're afraid of hearing the word "no." If you want immediate access to the course and these bonus videos, sign up right now!
Also, the best time to start is right now.
